Boyd proved her points by getting insights from teens of
many different backgrounds and ages across the nation and by interviewing
scholars to enhance her arguments. I think she did a great job of letting teens
get their voice out to the world. Adults have many misconceptions about the use
of social media and this book will help ease their mind when it comes to their kids’
use of social media. The more people learn about social media, the more the
will learn that it is not an awful thing and that it can actually be used as an
advantage over people that don’t understand it.
